So what about tech?

Discover S. Lisa Translations’ tools that help provide a state-of-the-art service.

Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT)

CAT-tools are extremely useful when it comes to evaluating a project scope, checking the consistency of a translation, working with relevant glossaries, saving translation memories for future projects, using client translation memories or glossaries and offering post-editing services.

S. Lisa Translations can use:

Text and Layout

For the best results, I use Office 365. If you would like me to work on a PowerPoint presentation, you won’t have to copy the content into a separate document.

I can also process PDF files thanks to Adobe Reader and ABBYY FineReader.

Do you prefer Open-Source software? OpenOffice and LibreOffice files are also welcome.

Proofreading, Editing and Reviewing

It’s only the final version if it has been without proofread and edited, translations included!

The proofing tools in Microsoft Office Word are very good for French, and CAT tools also have spellcheck and QA functionality. However my best ally is by far Antidote.
Top-notch readability, grammar and spelling are guaranteed!
